Remaining rooted in our faith in Christ enables us to rise with boldness, confident in what He has in store for us. From that foundation, we rise boldly with courage, resilience, and fierce determination in the pool, in the classroom, and in our walk with Jesus. During Athletics Week of Giving, we’re coming together as a community to build a legacy that not only pursues victory in competition but also reflects Christ in all we do.
Our women’s water polo team exemplifies this by living out the core values of our program: growth mindset, support, hard work, respect, trust, and accountability. Each day, we challenge ourselves to grow as teammates and as women of God, seeking excellence in our sport while becoming more like Christ.
Our mission extends beyond the pool, preparing these women to lead, serve, and impact the world for His Kingdom after graduation. Our goal is to become the best water polo players we can be and become conference champions year after year.
But, more importantly, we want to become more like Christ so that we would be prepared for the work He has in store beyond the college years!
This year, our goal is to raise $15,000 to strengthen and elevate our program. Your gifts during Athletics Week of Giving will help us fund staff & coaching positions, athlete development resources, Hudl Sportscode technology for training and team travel opportunities that build unity and deepen faith.
This year during Athletics Week of Giving, we are counting YOU to help empower our community to continue to be rooted in its faith, boldly rising in success in our sports, but even more so in forming our student-athletes into bold image bearers for Christ.
