Our team is rooted in our faith and in our commitment to Christ. From that foundation, we rise boldly with courage, resilience, and fierce determination in competition, in the classroom, and in our daily walk with Jesus.
Remaining rooted in our faith in Christ enables us to rise with boldness, confident in what He has in store for us. This season our focus has been on reestablishing our spiritual foundation and helping our student-athletes understand what it truly means to give God glory in every area of life, not just through athletic success. Our community is intentional about prayer, reflection, and creating an environment where faith and performance come together.
Our goal is to be among the most competitive programs in our conference and to represent Biola at NCAA nationals. More importantly, we want to ensure that everything we pursue points back to Christ.
Your gift during Athletics Week of Giving will help us fund opportunities that allow God to move within our program. This includes experiences like our winter training trip, which strengthens both our competitive preparation and our team’s spiritual growth.
We also have several tangible needs this year that will directly impact our student-athletes:
- A new camera to add to our existing training and performance system (approximately $4,000)
- Replacement pool deck mats that surround the entire perimeter of the pool (estimated $10,000–$12,000)
- Installation of our donated jacuzzi spa, including electrical work (estimated $1,300–$1,800)
Beyond these specific items, additional support helps us fund student-athlete scholarships, enhance coaching staff support, and improve the overall student-athlete experience in and out of the pool.
