Our student-athletes and staff are rooted in their faith and their commitment to Christ. From that foundation, they rise boldly with courage, resilience, and a fierce determination to recover from injury as they work through rehabilitation in the Athletic Training Clinic.
Throughout this athletics week of giving, we seek to come together as a community and build a legacy that not only pursues restoring the athlete to full health or victory in competition, but also reflects Christ in all we do.
Past contributions during these campaigns have been used for specialized staff training as well as purchasing key tools required. We have also used the donations for portable modalities, allowing us to fully care for the needs of our student-athletes while on the road. The goal this year is to purchase the latest rehabilitation technology, which combines a variety of light-based treatments with traditional modalities. This package costs $6,700 with the attachments we desire.
A unique aspect of our Sports Medicine program is our student internship program, which provides Biola students the opportunity to explore medical professions. We educate them on proper use and application of various modalities commonly found in a sport medicine rehabilitation clinic. Donations during this week lead to improvements to our program, which will directly enhance these students’ learning environment.
Please consider joining us by supporting us with a gift. Each contribution, no matter how small, assists in restoring our student athletes to full health and provides a rich learning experience for our student interns.
