About the SAFE Fund

The College of Arts and Sciences Student And Faculty Excellence (SAFE) Fund provides resources to transform the undergraduate and graduate experience and support faculty teaching, research, and engagement.

Dr. Yeganeh Madadi, assistant professor and director of the Robotics Lab in the Department of Computer Science, has developed a humanoid robot named YeRo to assist children with their communication skills. Her work was sponsored in part by the SAFE Fund. Read more
