For 36 hours each year, we join together as a community to support the students and staff of Carolina Friends and to celebrate our philanthropic community by making gifts and pledging service to community organizations all across the state, country, and globe.
At 11:03 AM on Friday, October 23, we reached 200 service pledges! As a result, our generous group of matching gift partners have added an additional $10,000 to our Giving Day Campaign! Soon afterwards, we reached our BIG goal of 500 donor participants, and because of THAT, our matching gift partners have donated another $20,000 to the School. Thank you!
We have some additional challenges that are offered from our generous group of matching gift partners:
- An additional $100 per donor in matching funds, for gifts of any amount, for ALL donor participants -- only 57 minutes left to get this match!
- An additional $15,000 for Carolina Friends when we reach our goal of 350 donors (UNLOCKED!)
- An additional $20,000 when we surpass 500 donor participants (UNLOCKED!)
- $20,000 unlocked when we reach 200 service pledges! (UNLOCKED)
There's another challenge that's just been issued by our matching gift partners... IF we reach 600 donors by noon today, another $10,000 will be sent in to support our students and staff THIS YEAR!

And... there's more... this group of alumni, alumni families, current and former Trustees, current and former staff, current families, and grandparents is so impressed with our community's philanthropy, that they're challenging us again!
Now, when we reach 500 donor participants, an additional $20,000 will be directed to the School from our generous matching gift partners.
