Join the AACC in Enhancing the Student Experience

For 55 years, the African American Cultural Center (AACC) has been a vital home for the Wolfpack — championing cultural heritage, fostering unity and empowering generations of students to find their voice and thrive. This year, we’re honoring this incredible legacy by coming together to power the future through the AACC’s Finding Your Edge (F.Y.E.) Foundations Program.

F.Y.E. Foundations supports NC State students who are seeking grounding, connection, and care as they navigate their academic journeys. While the program is intentionally designed to support first-year undergraduate, transfer, and entering graduate students, it also affirms a core truth of the AACC: our support does not expire. Guided by our motto — First Year, Every Year — F.Y.E. Foundations invites students to build or rebuild their foundation at any point in their time at NC State.

Through F.Y.E. Foundations, students connect with key campus resources, cultivate meaningful relationships, and strengthen a sense of belonging—no matter when or where their journey began.

Your support ensures that every new student who walks through our doors is welcomed into a network grounded in culture, mentorship and the encouragement to achieve. The FYE Foundations Event isn’t just a beginning. It’s a launchpad for academic success, meaningful friendships and lifelong pride in NC State.

We’re aiming to raise $5,500: one hundred dollars for every year of impact. Every contribution, of any amount, brings us closer to delivering an event filled with inspiration and opportunity.

Funds will be placed in the African American Cultural Center Enrichment Fund. If the project does not meet its fundraising goal, receives more funds than needed, or cannot be completed, the funds will be used for the overall enhancement of the African American Cultural Center. Gifts are received by the NC State University Foundation, Inc. and may be distributed to an affiliated foundation that manages the fund supported by the donor.

We Are Already Halfway to Our Fundraising Goal!

Ubuntu! I am because we are!

Because of you, we have already reached a MAJOR milestone in our fundraiser! We are excited to share that the Finding Your Edge (F.Y.E.) Foundations fundraiser has reached 50% of the goal!

Reaching the halfway mark is a testament to our shared commitment to community. It shows that when we come together, we can build something powerful for our students.

But our work isn't finished yet.

We still need to raise the remaining funds to fully support F.Y.E. Foundations with survival kits, workshops, and keynote speakers that will make this event a transformative experience for our NC State Students.

Please share this fundraiser with your friends, colleagues and family to expand our reach and keep the momentum going! Personal invitations have the most meaningful reach. Let's ensure every student finds their edge and their community at NC State.

Help Us Reach 100%

Together, we are building a legacy of success. Thank you for being a vital part of this journey.
