Download the app

Download the app.

Search “GiveCampus Connect” in the App Store. The app is compatible with iPhones and iPads with iOS version 12 or later.

Full level administrators can give other administrators (and themselves) access to the GC Connect app by visiting GiveCampus.com > Administrator Dashboard > Administrators > clicking the entry under the ‘GC Connect Access’ until it switches to ‘Yes’.

Once you’ve been given GC Connect access, you can log into the GC Connect app using the same credentials you use to log into your GiveCampus.com administrator account.

Charge up

Use the USB charging cable (included) to connect your reader to any USB port. Once GC Connect is charged, it can be unplugged— and used anywhere! A full charge can power as many as 1,000 donations.

Turn on your reader

Turn on your reader

To turn on your reader, press and release the power button (located on the side of the reader). The status light will turn on to indicate power. If the reader is not paired with a device (see step 4) within five minutes, it will turn off.

To manually turn off your reader, press and hold the power button until the status light goes dark.

Note: The reader does not need to be plugged into the USB charging cable to be used.

Enable Bluetooth on your iPhone or iPad via its system settings

Open the GC Connect app and log in

Select the “Reader” tab in the lower right corner and click “Discover Readers.” All in-range readers will appear, listed by serial number (the serial number is on the back of your reader). Your reader’s status light will flash multiple colors when it is discovered and ready to pair

Select the serial number of the GC Connect reader with which you wish to pair

Once paired, your GC Connect reader’s status light will switch to a steady blue light

Select a form or campaign in the GC Connect app and begin accepting in-person gifts!
