Thank you for celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Broward College Foundation and the real impact of $50 in transforming peoples' lives.

90 Broward College faculty and staff, alumni, friends, students and parents contributed $16,267 in philanthropic support towards the Broward College Fund - supporting the areas of greatest need for student success. 

Thanks to your generous support more than $10,000 has been raised so far today!

With $10,000 raised, the match opportunity from our friends at GEICO has been unlocked! All additional gifts of $50 or more made towards the Broward College Fund will be matched dollar for dollar up to $10,000 until 11:55 PM tonight.

In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Broward College Foundation, an anonymous supporter came forward with $10,000 in matched funds towards the Broward College Fund for the $50 for 50 Giving Day. So far nearly $8,000 has been raised utilizing this match.

Thanks to the generosity of our friends at GEICO, there is a new match opportunity to create additional impact on future generations of Broward College students. Once the fundraising total reaches $10,000, GEICO will continue the momentum of matching donations of $50 or more to the Broward College Fund dollar for dollar up to $10,000. That is $20,000 total in matched gift funding available to support Broward College students!

Philanthropic support to Broward College helps lower the tuition and costs of education for students, allowing them to make and retain more after graduating. 

Did you know that it only takes 28 gifts of $50 to cover the cost of tuition for one student for a semester? At Broward College, your funding goes further in making an impact.

Thanks to your support, more than $7,500 has been raised for the $50 for 50 Giving Day. That is equal to helping 5 students with covering the cost of tuition for a semester!

Cheers to 50 years! The Broward College Foundation was incorporated on November 5, 1971 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and the officially designated means of making private, charitable contributions to Broward College.

The Foundation's purpose is to change lives through education by providing community awareness, advocacy and funding to the college. As we celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Foundation tomorrow and the $50 for 50 Giving Day, here are some key milestones and highlights of the history and impact of Broward College Foundation.
