What is the $50 for 50 Giving Day?  

Friday, November 5th marks the 50th Anniversary of the Broward College Foundation. Over the course of its 50-year history, the Broward College Foundation has served the College’s community of more than 1 million alumni with program and scholarship support. 

Join us on November 5th for the $50 for 50 Giving Day in celebrating the beginning of the next 50 years, as we continue to create a better Broward - investing in students to transform millions of lives in our community by helping students continue their education and start their careers. 

How can I double my impact?  

Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor, all donations of $50 or more for the $50 for 50 Giving Day to the Broward College Fund will be matched dollar for dollar up to $10,000.

Is there a gift minimum or maximum to participate in the $50 for 50 Giving Day?  

Although you are welcome to make a gift of any size, all gifts of $50 or more for the $50 for 50 Giving Day to the Broward College Fund will be matched dollar for dollar up to $10,000 through 11:55 PM on Friday, November 5th. 

If you would like to make a gift outside of the $50 for 50 Giving Day towards the Broward College Fund, you can do so online here. 

Do I get donor credit for the matching amount?

Although your support of $50 or more will have double the impact, you will receive credit only for the amount of your gift.

Can I make a gift with stocks or securities for the $50 for 50 Giving Day?  

Yes! Please contact Scott Rivinius at sriviniu@broward.edu so we can count your gift. Please mention “$50 for 50 Giving Day”.
