In the Fowler College of Business, we are dedicated to equipping our students with the leadership, analytical, teamwork, and communication-based skills necessary to succeed in today’s dynamic business environment. We do this by engaging and collaborating with the San Diego business community and beyond to ensure our curriculum and student experiences are well-mapped to the demands of industry leaders.

Career and Professional Readiness

The Fowler College of Business offers a variety of career and professional readiness opportunities and a comprehensive range of resources to the nearly 10,000 business students. This includes access to our Partrick-Clayes Center for Career Development, case competitions, business immersion trips, 1:1 career coaching, as well as access to an Executives Closet for students in need of professional attire.

Partrick-Clayes Challenge: Join supporters Jeff Partrick and Trulette Clayes to support career and professional readiness programming for business students. Jeff and Trulette have challenged the Fowler College of Business to raise $2.5M for this initiative by December 31, 2025.

Fowler Scholars Program

Fowler Scholars is a leadership development program emphasizing ethical leadership for students in the Fowler College of Business. Fowler Scholars participate in a wide range of hands-on activities, including service-learning projects with top companies, domestic and international business immersion trips, internships, and mentoring.
