The challenge is on for Youngstown State Soccer, and we need YOU to help us reach our fundraising goals.

Penguin Day of Giving is our 24-hour challenge to rally support for our team and help our Guins compete at the highest level.

Your generosity during Penguin Day helps us fund:

  • Technology & Performance Analysis – Enhance our video review capabilities for home competitions and support annual subscriptions to PlayerDatax and Spiideo, providing coaches and student-athletes with valuable team and individual performance analysis.
  • Team Travel – Help provide our student-athletes with safe, efficient travel and quality accommodations as they represent YSU in competition.
  • Equipment & Team Gear – Provide essential equipment, training apparel and team gear to ensure our student-athletes have the resources they need to train, compete and represent YSU at the highest level.

Every gift directly fuels the work that happens on and off the field: daily practices, strength and conditioning, tactical preparation and the teamwork required to compete at every match. Your support during this 24-hour challenge ensures our athletes are prepared to meet every moment with confidence.

Support YSU Sports Performance This Penguin Day!

We're excited to highlight YSU Sports Performance as another important area you can support during Penguin Day!

Led by Mary Beth George, Associate Athletic Director for Sports Performance, the department plays a vital role in preparing student-athletes across all YSU athletic programs to train and compete at the highest level.

Donations to Sports Performance will help replace aging equipment, upgrade technology and provide new training resources that directly benefit our student-athletes.
