About

The challenge is on for YSU Bowling, and we need YOU to help us reach our fundraising goals.

Penguin Day of Giving is our 24-hour challenge to rally the support we need to continue building a strong, competitive program.

Your generosity during Penguin Day helps us fund:

  • Travel to matches and tournaments that provide valuable competitive experience
  • Customized team gear and essential equipment that support performance and consistency
  • Continued investment in a growing program built on focus, precision and teamwork

Every gift directly fuels the work that happens at the lanes and beyond: practice sessions, technical refinement, mental preparation and the focus required to perform frame after frame. Your support during this 24-hour challenge ensures our student-athletes are prepared to meet every match with confidence.

Step up. Make your impact. Help YSU Bowling rise to the challenge on Penguin Day of Giving!

Sports Performance Department

Support YSU Sports Performance This Penguin Day!

We're excited to highlight YSU Sports Performance as another important area you can support during Penguin Day!

Led by Mary Beth George, Associate Athletic Director for Sports Performance, the department plays a vital role in preparing student-athletes across all YSU athletic programs to train and compete at the highest level.

Donations to Sports Performance will help replace aging equipment, upgrade technology and provide new training resources that directly benefit our student-athletes.

Want to support Sports Performance? You can select Sports Performance from the giving options alongside our athletic teams on the Penguin Day donation page.

Every gift makes a difference in helping our Penguins reach their full potential!
