Support the Mental Health of Xavier Students
At Xavier University, Counseling Services is committed to supporting the mental health and well-being of every student we serve.
Rooted in the Xavier value of cura personalis — care for the whole, unique person — our work centers on reducing barriers to mental health care while increasing accessibility, visibility, and campus-wide awareness.
In the past year, 15% of Xavier students walked through our doors seeking support. That represents thousands of conversations, moments of courage, and opportunities to help students stay enrolled, connected, and thriving.
Students themselves speak to the impact of this care:
“Having somewhere to go to talk about what I’m feeling is a big reason why I am still able to be at Xavier.” — Xavier Student (Fall, 2025)
“Finding counseling allowed me to come back from a medical withdrawal and stay at school because of its impact on my daily life. Instead of just surviving my day-to-day life, I began to thrive.” — Xavier Student (Fall, 2025)
Support from the Xavier community helps Counseling Services expand outreach efforts so that more students know about and can access these life-changing services, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to get the help they need.
This March Gladness, stand with Xavier students. Give today. Increase access. Remove barriers. Help students move from surviving to thriving.
