About the College of Nursing
The undergraduate Nursing program at Xavier University is a community-based, holistic program focused on a health and wellness model that educates future nurses in the skills of communication, coordination and cooperation with other health-care professionals. Students choose a traditional, four-year track for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) for those with a degree in other disciplines. Graduates are qualified to sit for the registered nurse licensure examination and for the holistic nurse certification examination.
