The Wingate Athletics Champions Campaign is an exciting, week-long fundraising event that will take place from November 11-15, 2024. This inaugural campaign aims to rally the support of alumni, parents, and friends to help advance the success of Wingate University’s 26 athletic teams and over 800 student-athletes.
After a remarkable year that included a team national championship, a departmental GPA of 3.17, and 16 conference championships, Wingate Athletics is eager to build on this momentum. The Bulldogs' outstanding achievements, including two individual national titles and a fourth-place finish in the Learfield Directors’ Cup standings, highlight the growing legacy of Wingate Athletics.
Choose to contribute to your favorite team, support cheerleading, The Spirit of the Gate marching band, or donate to the Bulldog Athletics Fund to address Athletics’ greatest needs. Every dollar raised during the campaign will be directed 100% to the chosen team, ensuring direct impact.

Our Women’s Triathlon team just brought home their first-ever National Championship, our Men’s and Women’s Cross Country teams won the Southeast Regionals, and Football secured the Piedmont Division title, setting up to host the SAC title game next weekend. Not to mention, Women’s Soccer is headed to the SAC Tournament semifinals, and Volleyball has clinched at least a share of the regular season SAC title for the 18th time in 19 seasons!
With all this momentum, we’re ready to kick off the Wingate Athletics Champions Campaign!
