About

Hurricane Helene has caused severe flooding and damage in the Hendersonville and Asheville areas, affecting many of our Wingate University students, faculty, and staff. In response to this disaster, we have launched the Hendersonville Campus Emergency Relief Fund to provide immediate support to members of our Wingate community who have been displaced or suffered losses.

The fund will assist with critical expenses such as temporary housing, food, gas, clothing, and essential electronics for those who have lost personal belongings. Many of our Hendersonville campus community members have been directly impacted by the storm, and your support can make a significant difference in their recovery.

By donating to the Hendersonville Emergency Relief Fund, you are helping provide relief and comfort to those in need during this challenging time. Every contribution counts and will go directly toward aiding our students, faculty, and staff as they begin to rebuild and recover.

Together, we can help our Wingate family through this difficult time.

Update: How Your Gifts Are Helping

We want to take a moment to share an update on the impact your generosity has had through the Hendersonville Emergency Relief Fund, which was established to support our Wingate Hendersonville community in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. While our Bulldog family in Hendersonville is still in the process of recovering, your support has provided much-needed relief.

Thanks to the support from donors like you, $66,061 has been raised from 236 donors. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has contributed, provided goods, and rallied around our community during this time of need. Your kindness and compassion have made a significant difference.

So far, we have been able to provide relief funds to faculty and staff members who were directly impacted, with the majority of the remaining funds going to support students affected by the hurricane. Your contributions have truly helped uplift those in our Bulldog community who needed it most.

We also invite you to read heartfelt messages from those who have received assistance—Here.

While there is still work to be done in our recovery efforts, your continued support strengthens our community. On behalf of Wingate University, thank you for standing with us. We are continually inspired by the strength of our community, and your continued support reflects the caring spirit that defines the Wingate family. #ONEDOG
