GEAR UP stands for Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs. Our primary goal is to significantly increase the number of low-income and historically underrepresented students who are prepared to enter and succeed in postsecondary education. We offer after school tutoring, college visits and exposure to careers that are often not highlighted. One parent shared how this opportunity has significantly increased their students confidence and has provided soft skills to help them communicate effectively at home and in school.
