Gifts to Internships contribute to...
At Whitman, students are ushered into a space to explore, dream, innovate, expand their worldview and think about how they can make an impact.
The Whitman Internship Grant (WIG) provides opportunities for active learning outside of the classroom. WIGs allow students to apply their academic knowledge and theory to real-world situations and professional settings. Students may receive $1,300 to $5,500 per internship. Last year Whitman disbursed more than $350,000 to 92 students.
Whitman Internship Grants are made possible by philanthropic gifts from alumni, families and friends of the college.
