Learning Beyond the Classroom

Learning Beyond the Classroom provides students with opportunities to grow through hands-on experiences, leadership, athletics, and career preparation. Together, these funds help students build confidence, develop lifelong skills, and make the most of their Wheaton experience both on and off campus.

Generosity through the fund for Life & Career Design supports Wheaton’s mission to provide a high-quality education with innovative design thinking to help students learn skills and build a mindset for success in college and throughout their life and career. Your support provides access to research opportunities, fully funded internships, and hands-on experiences that prepare students for success in their chosen careers.

Generosity through the Lyons Athletic Club (LAC) supports Wheaton's Athletic Department, Wheaton's 26 varsity sports teams, and the college's on-campus recreation programs. When you give to the Lyons Athletic Club, you will enhance athletic and recreational facilities for all students, improve the student-athlete experience, aid Wheaton in recruiting and retaining student-athletes, supplement sports team and fitness center equipment needs, and cover team trips & travel opportunities.
