To start day 2 of Give a Hoot, the first 50 donors this morning will unlock a $1,000 gift from Dr. Thompson.

Gifts to the Owls Helping Owls Student Emergency Fund will be matched up to $5,000 thanks to the Westfield State University Board of Trustees!

We had a generous commitment from the Class of 1969 to challenge their classmates (or other classes) to give to the newly created Class of 1969 Scholarship. The donor will match up to $1,000 of any contribution to the Class of 1969 Scholarship.

Calling all student-athletes! 100 donors to Westfield State Athletics will unlock a $2,000 donation from Russ Hammond `73!

50 years ago this year, Coach John Kurty's Westfield State Soccer Team were State, New England and NCAA East District I Champions and placed third in the nation at the 1974 NCAA Division III Soccer Championship in Chicago, IL - the best-ever performance by a Westfield State team.

Coach Kurty had a profound impact on the thousands of young people he mentored throughout his life. His legacy lives on through the Coach John Kurty Scholarship for Movement Science, awarded annually to students pursuing a degree in the Department of Movement Science at Westfield State.
