WIU Bilingual Early Learning and Family Center

Building a strong start for every child.

Opened in July 2025, the WIU Bilingual Early Learning & Family Center provides a high-quality, university-aligned early learning experience for both Spanish-speaking and non-Spanish-speaking families in the Quad Cities region.

Through a Spanish Dual Language curriculum, children learn through play, instruction, and daily interaction that builds language skills, confidence, curiosity, and cultural awareness. Native Spanish speakers strengthen and celebrate their home language, while other students naturally develop Spanish in an immersive, supportive environment.

Staffed by caring bilingual professionals, the Center provides a safe, inclusive, and culturally responsive setting where every child and family is welcomed and supported.
