Western Illinois University is proud to be a source of opportunity for students from a variety of backgrounds. We're especially proud that so many families without a history of college degrees themselves trust their children's bright futures to WIU. First Generation students are working hard at WIU every day to do their families proud. We're happy to lend them our support with the First Generation Student Scholarship, which provides extra help to students who are starting their legacy of higher education.
