In the spirit of a friendly (but fierce!) rivalry, Western Illinois University and Northern Illinois University have locked paws in a giving challenge that'll boost both schools and crown one very good boy the ultimate champion. Join fellow Leatherneck alumni, students, and friends with one goal in mind: BEAT Northern—on the football field and through your generosity!
Why? Col. Rock IV "Ray" and Mission are more than mascots; they're dedicated to student success. Both have the grit to ensure their students rise to greatness, but when a rivalry dates back to 1903, it's only fitting to let some of that competitive fire spill into fundraising. In this game, everyone wins—especially our students.
When? NOW! The challenge is on and your gift can change the game. The challenge ends on game day—Saturday, August 31, at 1:30 p.m. (CST) followed by a 2:30 p.m. kickoff when our Fighting Leathernecks take on the NIU Huskies. Don't wait—make your gift now!
