At Hunter Library, we strive to offer support to members of the university community whether WCU is a stop along their journey, or landing in the western North Carolina region is their end goal.
The library actively seeks opportunities for members of the WCU community to be seen and heard in their research, creative activities, and beyond. Your donations on One Day for Western will specifically help Hunter Library enhance student experiences through:
- Paid internships for WCU students interested in careers in library and information science
- Events that inspire community and connection, such as game nights, chess matches, and book clubs
- Workshops and exhibits that encourage students’ scholarly and creative expression
- Educational programming that highlights student and faculty scholarship, regional history and culture, and technological innovations
Please consider supporting the Hunter Library on One Day for Western; your support makes a meaningful difference in our students' experience at WCU!
