An endowed scholarship fund honoring  Kenneth E. Flynt

In recognition of Ken’s exemplary service to the state, university, and community, a student scholarship is being established to honor his many contributions.  Your contribution to the WCU Foundation will go toward establishing the corpus for the scholarship.  

A few highlights of Ken’s service and career include:

• Teaching, mentoring, and intern and job placement assistance to well over a hundred WCU finance and banking students. 
• Oversight of the University’s Small Business Technology Development Center program.
• Member of WCU’s Corporation for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEI) Board of Managers.
• Board Member of Haywood (DLP) Hospital’s Business Engagement Group.
• Member, Haywood Co. Economic Development Council Board of Directors, Waynesville, NC.
