Each year on #GivingTuesday, the entire Catamount family rallies around everything that makes our university and community great. This year, GivingTuesday falls on November 28th and we remain focused on growing The Fund for WCU.
The Fund for WCU provides immediate support for Western's greatest needs, including First Year Access Scholarships and 1889 Impact Grants. We'll be highlighting projects that received funding during the fiscal year 2023 cycle throughout the month of November, so be on the lookout for that content here and on our social media channels.
Gifts made between November 1st through December 1st, 2023 will count toward our donor goal. For more information, contact annualgiving@wcu.edu or call 828.227.7124. Thank you for helping us support WCU's greatest needs by giving to The Fund for WCU. Go Cats!

We are still tallying up the results, but THANK YOU to everyone for helping make this year's GivingTuesday a success!
There is still time to make a gift and unlock additional matching funds for The Fund for WCU, so keep encouraging your networks to support Western before Friday, December 1.
We cannot wait to share the official results with you in a few weeks. Go Cats!
We still have a few hours to go, and even Chancellor Brown is in on the fun! She visited the Advancement Team and encouraged our student callers earlier today. Don't forget to do your part: spread the word so we can reach our 1,000 donor goal and maximize the $25,000 challenge for The Fund for WCU!
