WT Rodeo

The West Texas A&M University Rodeo Team brings together talented student-athletes who compete in 10 rodeo events, including saddle bronc riding, barrel racing, breakaway roping, tie-down roping, and more. As part of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association, the team competes across the Southwest, showcasing their skills and dedication to the sport in one of the most competitive regions in the country. In addition to their in-arena achievements, team members maintain a strong commitment to their academic pursuits at WT, balancing practice and rodeos with their studies. For more than 25 years, the team has fostered a supportive environment where athletes can develop both in the arena and in their future careers.
