In the Department of Earth and Space Sciences, we investigate how the planet has changed and what the future of our planet will hold considering these changes. Students and faculty are actively studying the Earth - past, present, and future - to help the global community live sustainably on this planet.

Help Us Double the Impact for ESS Students!

The Department of Earth and Space Sciences is raising $10,000 to unlock a generous match from Dr. Sandie Mather, a West Chester University alumna and former Earth and Space Science professor. Once we meet our $10,000 goal, Dr. Mather will contribute an equal amount—creating a $20,000 scholarship fund to support current and future ESS students.

This scholarship will provide vital financial support, helping to reduce barriers and increase equity in STEM education by minimizing the financial burden of higher education for ESS students. But we can’t do it without you. Every gift, no matter the size, brings us closer to unlocking the match and making twice the impact.
