The Moment
Every season, Wesleyan Women's Hockey builds on a legacy shaped by generations of student-athletes, coaches, families, and alumnae.
Our players inherit a tradition built by those who came before them. They strengthen it through their dedication to one another, their commitment to excellence, and the pride they take in representing Wesleyan.
Cardinal Legacy is about honoring that tradition while investing in the experience of today's student-athletes and the future of our program.
The Goal
Our goal is to raise $60,000 in annual support for Wesleyan Women's Hockey.
Gifts to the Women's Hockey Coach's Fund provide essential resources that enhance the student-athlete experience and help our team prepare, compete, and develop throughout the season.
Your support helps fund:
- Coaching & Player Development — Specialized goaltending instruction and opportunities to develop individual skills.
- Team Travel & Meals — Supporting our student-athletes throughout the competitive season.
- Equipment & Technology — Providing equipment, video analysis, and performance resources.
- Recruiting — Helping our coaches identify and attract future Cardinals.
These are the investments that make a difference every day, both on and off the ice.
The Why
The Wesleyan Women's Hockey experience extends far beyond the rink.
It's about the relationships built between teammates, the lessons learned through competition, and the sense of belonging that lasts long after graduation.
Our program benefits from university support and an endowment established through the generosity of past donors. Annual giving from parents, alumnae, and friends builds on that foundation, providing critical resources for today's team.
Together, this community makes the Cardinal Legacy possible.
How You Can Help
Every generation has an opportunity to leave Wesleyan Women's Hockey stronger than it found it.
Whether you're a parent supporting your daughter's Wesleyan experience, an alumna giving back to the program that helped shape yours, or a friend who believes in our student-athletes, your generosity matters.
We are grateful for the many ways our community supports the team. Gifts of every size are meaningful, and we encourage everyone to participate at a level that is right for them.
You inherit a legacy. You shape a legacy. You leave a legacy.
