Gastroenterology
For over a century, Wayne State University has been dedicated to training exceptional physicians, and our Division of Gastroenterology has proudly continued this tradition—providing outstanding education, research, and patient care in Detroit.
Our program has trained exceptional gastroenterologists who now practice across the country in diverse settings. Today, we remain committed to educating the next generation of physicians through our involvement in the School of Medicine, the Internal Medicine residency program, and, most importantly, the Gastroenterology Fellowship Program. We have recently expanded to 11 faculty members and eight fellows, with plans for further growth.
