• Ready! Set! Give! On Giving Day, once 25 donors have made a gift to the Political Science Annual Fund, a $4,000 donation from a group of anonymous donors will be unlocked!

Majoring in political science is useful to those planning on a career in law, government, politics, education, media, business, health care administration, information technology and nonprofit administration. Political science students graduate with versatile analytic and technical skills that prepare them for careers in many fields.

• Richard Elling Fund for Public Administration Education: In 2015, Dr. Richard Elling retired from a 35-year career as a core faculty member for the Master of Public Administration Program and a Professor of Political Science. Donations to the Elling Fund provide scholarships for MPA students, support MPA student internships, and enable the program to produce the newsletter.
• Political Science Department Annual Fund: The Political Science Department Annual Fund is one way you can directly help political science students take advantage of all the opportunities the field has to offer. Donations to this fund help impact the student experience by expanding the department’s ability to support a wide range of extracurricular opportunities, including awards for student travel to professional conferences, scholarships to make study abroad opportunities accessible to more of our students, and more.
