A degree in English prepares students for success in every career. The English Department is made up of several strong areas of study, including creative writing, film and media studies, literary and cultural studies, and rhetoric and composition studies.

Paid internships are a crucial part of an English student’s education. The average cost to fund a student internship for one semester is $2,100.
