Study in the biological sciences provides students with fundamental knowledge of biology at molecular, cellular, physiological and ecological levels. Our programs serve to develop and train students to be well-prepared for postgraduate studies as well as for careers in biology-related industry and research sectors.
- Gifts supporting the Biological Sciences Annual Fund help provide department-specific resources for students and faculty to study the intricacies and nuances of life at the cellular and microscopic levels. These include expanding the department’s ability to support a wide range of educational opportunities, awards for student travel to professional conferences, internships, departmental events and programs, funding for student and faculty research, support for graduate teaching assistantships, and more.
