• Gifts supporting the Physics and Astronomy Annual Fund help provide department-specific resources; expanding the department’s ability to support a wide range of College to Career and experiential learning opportunities, including: awards for student travel to professional conferences, internships, departmental events and programs, funding for student and faculty research, and more.
• Contributions to the Physics and Astronomy Scholarship Fund directly impact students by helping to make education accessible – keeping the department competitive with peers and ensuring that students have the financial support they need to complete their educational programs.
• Your contribution to the Planetarium furthers our mission to promote the sciences and astronomy through weekly planetarium shows, monthly lectures and activities for K-12 groups at low cost to students. Donations will support our student workers, the maintenance and acquisition of new equipment, new shows and weekly presentations, and the expansion of our outreach programs serving the community.
