Students earning a degree in Nutrition and Food Science will be prepared to enter the nutrition or food science profession, dietetics field or positions in a variety of food businesses, research and development.

• Gifts supporting the Nutrition and Food Science Research and Development Fund help provide department-specific resources; expanding the department’s ability to support a wide range of College to Career and experiential learning opportunities, including: field trips, awards for student travel to professional conferences, departmental events and programs, paid internships, funding for student and faculty research, and more. Hands on professional experiences, such as field trips and paid internships, are essential for our students as they prepare themselves for successful futures.
• Contributions to the Nutrition and Food Science Scholarship Fund directly impact students by helping to make education accessible – keeping the department competitive with peers and ensuring that students have the financial support they need to complete their educational programs.
