Chemistry, the study of matter and its transformations, is central to all sciences. It is our goal to prepare students to think critically about important scientific problems, perform research and communicate their findings; equipping them with the tools needed to enter the chemical profession and other science fields.

• Gifts made to the Chemistry Annual Support Fund on Giving Day help provide lab coats to all chemistry students. Lab coats are essential to our programs, as they help us to safely conduct the high-level experiments performed in our lab classes. A gift of $40 will provide a student with a lab coat providing the safety gear needed for a successful semester! A gift of $400 will provide this crucial gear for 10 students!
• Contributions to the Chemistry Scholarship Fund directly impact students by helping to make education accessible – keeping the department competitive with peers and ensuring that students have the financial support they need to complete their educational programs.
