Walsh Cross Country and Track and Field '22

The Walsh University Cross Country and Track & Field teams are gearing up for another exciting season, building upon their continued record of success in both competition and the classroom.

Both the Men’s and Women’s Cross Country teams have been national team qualifiers for the past four years in a row, with G-Mac Conference championships for the Men in 2021 and the Women in 2020. Men’s Track & Field has had two national individual champions, and both the Men’s and Women’s teams have had a number of athletes named to the All-American team.

Competition is not the only place where these dedicated student athletes excel. Academically, they demonstrate the same commitment to excellence as they do in their sports, with all teams being named to the All-Academic team for the past seven years in a row.

We are proud of the work these student athletes do every day to demonstrate excellence on the course, on the track, and in the classroom.
