Joe Ezzie, a 1965 graduate, dedicated 49 years to teaching at Walsh, shaping countless lives through his passion for education. His journey began as an international student from Lebanon, where he found a welcoming community among the Brothers at Walsh. Inspired by mentors like Br. Robert Francoeur and Br. Dacian Barrette, Ezzie returned to Walsh after completing his Ph.D. and made it his mission to inspire future generations. In recognition of his impact, the Joseph Ezzie Outstanding Educator of the Year Award was established.
