Nelson Gorbach Performing Arts Scholarships

Walsh Jesuit’s Performing Arts Scholarships help recognize and nurture talented student musicians and performers who bring energy and spirit to our community. These annually renewable scholarships support students who commit their gifts to one of our major ensembles: Warrior Corp Marching Band, Jazz Band, String Orchestra, Concert Band, or Choir. Through your generosity, young artists are given the opportunity to grow in confidence, creativity, and collaboration while enriching the Walsh Jesuit experience for all.

This award is named after Nelson Gorbach, Walsh Jesuit High School's band director from 1965-2015. We strive to honor Mr. Gorbach's passion for music education by rewarding excellent young and dedicated musicians.
