Virginia Tech Softball just completed one of the most remarkable seasons in program history. Head coach Pete D’Amour’s squad went 48–12 with an 18–6 ACC record, the most wins under D’Amour and the program’s best single-season total since 2008. The Hokies shattered eight program records, led the ACC in batting average (.362), earned their seventh straight NCAA Regional appearance under D’Amour, and made the program’s first ACC Championship game appearance since 2012. ACC Freshman of the Year Bree Carrico headlined a pitching staff that dominated the conference, while Jordan Lynch, Addison Foster, and Zoe Yaeger powered one of the most dynamic lineups in Tech history.
