The Vincennes University Greenhouse Project is a fundraising campaign aimed at raising funds for the construction of the new Greenhouse Living Lab at VU.
This initiative seeks to create a state-of-the-art facility that will serve as both an educational resource and a research hub, fostering hands on learning opportunities for students and the community alike.
The Greenhouse Living Lab will offer a dynamic environment for studying plant sciences, sustainability practices, and environmental research, with the goal of advancing knowledge in these areas and promoting a greater understanding of our natural world.
The Greenhouse will allow Vincennes University to impact the community of Vincennes and surrounding counties in Southwest Indiana by giving local high school students access to summer Ag camps and by offering seminars in horticulture training. It will also allow for training to the local FFA for soils, horticulture, dendrology, etc. as well as 4-H project training.
