Our third annual crowdfunding challenge - Brew3D: Lights. Camera. Challenge. - will premiere at 9 a.m. on Thursday, February 27. Vassar’s 27 teams will have 27 hours to reach their goal of 4,027 gifts in support of our student-athletes. We’ve rewritten the script this year by dividing the programs into three divisions based on roster size.
Thanks to the generosity of a trio of superstars, this year there will be three ways to win. Francesca Gutierrez Amann '91 has made it possible for the team in each division that scores the highest number of unique donors to win $2,500. Additionally, each team will create a challenge-themed video, with a panel of judges awarding $2,500 for the most creative video in each division, courtesy of President Bradley. And, if we reach our overall goal of 4,027 gifts, the Brewers Fund will receive $10,000 thanks to Caroline Gregson Wabl '95.
How is the winner of the $2,500 challenge for most number of unique donors within each division determined?
The team with the greatest overall number of unique donors within each division will receive $2,500. Multiple gifts identified as coming from the same donor or utilizing alternate names will only be counted once.
How is the winner of the $2,500 challenge for most creative video within each division determined?
A panel of five current Vassar faculty members and administrators will review all of the videos and select a winner for each division.
You can play your part by making a gift between 9 a.m. on February 27 and noon on February 28, as well as generating some “buzz” through your social media accounts. DIVISION BREAKDOWN

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the generous donors who sponsored this year's challenges!

We reached our overall goal, but we have several challenges still to be decided. Make sure you support your favorite team as we head toward the finish line!

We just hit 95% of our goal. We need your help to get us over the bar!

We’re about to add a major plot twist, courtesy of our enthusiastic and generous alumna supporter, Francesca Gutierrez Amann '91 (who is already sponsoring the most unique donor challenge in all three divisions). In the last two and a half hours of the challenge (from 9:30 am until noon), the single team who brings in the most new unique donors will get $2,500 from Francesca!

We've got just under four hours to go! Let's roll past our goal of 4.027 donors before noon.

We're moving our way toward our goal of 4,027 unique donors in 27 hours. Let's escalate our game and get this done!
Steve Hankins '85, P'13, P'17 has just given us a sequel to Francesca Gutierrez Amann's blockbuster challenge! He wants to fire up the competition among our teams for most unique donors. He is stepping up to offer $600 to the second place finishers and $300 to the third place finishers in all three divisions! (Ironically - this totals $2,700!)

Check-in on how Cody Brewer spent his day, he loves supporting the Brewers.
Thank you to everyone who has helped us reach 50% of our goal! We're halfway there, but it's no time to rest.

Take a peek behind the scenes. Our student-athletes are working hard to help us reach our goal. We need your help!

Congratulations to Women's Volleyball and Men's Tennis for winning Athletic Director Michelle Walsh's challenge! Each team has earned $250 for having the highest percentage of student-athletes on their roster sign up as advocates and post personal plea videos by noon today.
We did it! We have reached the 25% mark of our total goal so Winston Clement '09 and Elizabeth Greenstein Clement '09 will donate $2500 in support of the Brewers Fund and all Vassar student-athletes.

We're serving up our first challenge! Winston Clement '09 and Elizabeth Greenstein Clement '09 are offering $2,500 when we reach 25% of our goal (1,007). Let's do this!

The RISE program at Vassar Athletics directly benefits from The Brewers Fund. The Vassar RISE program is a comprehensive educational initiative to enhance the lives of Brewer student-athletes and coaches. The curriculum includes personal and athletic development through the education and empowerment of student-athletes and coaches. This program emphasizes leadership and life skills development of our student-athletes.

The #Brew3D Challenge is in full swing! With your help, we're on our way to making our story a blockbuster and reaching our goal of 4,027 unique donors to secure a $10,000 gift to the Brewers Fund in support of all of Vassar’s student-athletes.
