The NPHC Plaza goal is to ensure that current and future generations of the Valdosta State University family and NPHC community understand the impact and appreciate the positive legacy that each NPHC organization has left and continues to have on our beloved campus. We would like your help in bringing forth permanent recognition of the NPHC with students, alumni, and community stakeholders. The NPHC Plaza will find its home in between the Fine Arts building and the pedestrian walkway located at the corner of Brookwood Place and Patterson St. The goal of the project is to provide a space on campus that gives homage to the legacy of the NPHC organizations at VSU while cultivating a spirit of inclusion and diversity. Each chapter will have a home in this plaza for all alumni and members to gather and commemorate their time in their organization. Private support is essential to ensure the NPHC Plaza becomes a reality. We invite you to participate in this historic opportunity by making a gift to the NPHC Plaza project.
VSU's NPHC has established a commemorative brick paver program to engage NPHC alumni and friends to support this important project. Any individual who makes a gift of $200 or more will be given the opportunity to personalize a paver commemorating their support of this project in a premium location within their NPHC organization's section of the garden (Only 100 available per organization). Any individual that makes a gift between $100 and $199 will be given the opportunity to personalize a paver located on the brick pathway approaching the NPHC Plaza. Any brick paver that is purchased on or before August 20, 2021 will be included in the NPHC Plaza for the ribbon cutting ceremony.
This special commemorative brick pricing will only be available during the NPHC Plaza campaign between July 20, 2021 and August 20, 2021. All brick pavers purchased after the close of the campaign period will reflect the paver replacement price of $250 for a premium brick paver located within the NPHC organization's section of the garden and $150 for a paver located along the brick pathway. Replacement bricks will not be included in the NPHC Plaza ribbon cutting tentatively scheduled for homecoming weekend, November 6, 2021.

However, you will have an opportunity to verify your personalized paver information before the engraving process. You will receive a verification email with the information you entered after the conclusion of the campaign. You will be able to make changes at this time.
We cannot control the order that the bricks are placed within an organization's section. We can assure you that if you purchased a premium brick, your brick will be displayed within your organization's section.
You can find the number of bricks remaining in each organization's section listed under "Incentive" on the left hand side of the main page of the giving site.

The brick personalization will be entered on the "Give Now" page. Brick personalization is limited to 3 lines with 20 characters per line (including spaces and characters). Please note there are only 100 available brick pavers in each "organization specific area." Once an organization reaches 100 of the $200 pavers, they will only have the option to purchase bricks along the pathway to the Azalea Trail.
If you would like to use your Greek letters in your brick personalization:
- Use parenthesis to spell out your chosen Greek letters
- Example: (alpha phi alpha) Paver will read: AΦA
- ONLY the three symbols will be counted towards the overall line character count.
- Example: (alpha phi alpha) equates to three characters.
