College of Veterinary Medicine

2025 has brought momentous change to the College of Veterinary Medicine, as we launched the first cohort of students to the only Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree program in the state this August. We are thrilled to offer this opportunity veterinary students who inspire us with their tenacity and unwavering commitment to caring for animals and communities. To provide students with the best education possible, the College of Veterinary Medicine is constructing a 100,000 square-foot building to deliver the first three years of the new curriculum. The state-of-the-art building will provide an ideal instructional environment where students will learn fundamentals and prepare for their final year of clinical training with seasoned veterinary practitioners, working in partnership with the college throughout Utah and the broader Intermountain Region.
