Gifts to College of Arts & Sciences contribute to...
Many consider experiential learning essential to a well-rounded college experience. The reality is that a myriad of roadblocks prevent students from participating in these often life-changing experiences. The USU College of Arts & Sciences maintains the Experiential Learning Fund to help students take advantage of learning outside of the classroom by providing an opportunity to apply for support to offset the cost of hands-on learning opportunities including internships and study abroad.
Today we invite you to help give students access to real-world experiences and job-ready skills by donating to the Experiential Learning Fund. Your donation will bring local, national, and even international experiences within reach by giving students a small push to overcome economic challenges and providing greater access to a range of hands-on learning experiences.
USU’s College of Arts & Sciences invites you to join us in supporting the Experiential Learning Fund, which helps our students step beyond the classroom into life-changing opportunities. Following are stories from scholars who’ve benefited from the fund and share pivotal experiences that broadened their perspectives and propelled them toward meaningful professional endeavors.
During this 24-hour campaign, we invite you to help our students continue to experience these once-in-a-lifetime opportunities. Thanks to a generous challenge grant from Brad & Linda Walton, your gift will be matched dollar for dollar, to make you donation stretch even farther. Join us in #24hourOfGiving.

(Study in France) wasn’t just about visiting new places. It was about getting to see how systems interact with each other and to see the effects of globalization in different settings. Studying abroad is a unique way to get to know yourself ... and highlighted the importance of approaching problem sets and community-building in a different way. My internship for the U.S. Congress Senate Foreign Relations Committee in Washington, D.C. was transformative for my career trajectory and professional skills today. The unique networking and skill building opportunities led me to a position with the Center for Strategic and International Studies, along with graduate study at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.” Chase Harward, BA’22, Political Science, Economics, International Studies
