About

The School of Graduate Studies at Utah State University is matching $1 per $1 donated to the Graduate Student Emergency Hardship Fund up to $10,000!

The Graduate Student Emergency Hardship Fund offers grants to graduate students facing unexpected challenges that might otherwise force them to pause or discontinue their studies. Donations support students in various ways, such as helping with tuition costs, securing stable housing, purchasing groceries, or covering medical expenses. See experiences from recipients of the hardship fund below!

Graduate students experiencing hardships can apply for assistance through a detailed interview process that assesses their level of need, the required funding, and the specific areas the grant will support. The funds can be used for tuition and fees, textbooks, medical and health expenses, living costs, and essential groceries.
