The Gina Guy Center for Land and Water at the University of Wyoming College of Law prepares the next generation of natural resource lawyers while advancing research and dialogue on the lands, waters, wildlife, and energy resources of Wyoming and the West.
Led by co-directors Professors Temple Stoellinger and Jason Robison, the center puts students at the heart of its work.
This past year, our Student Director and six Student Research Fellows researched and co-authored scholarship with faculty, helped organize the Landscape Discussion on Energy Law and Policy in the Rockies, helped organize and present at the Wind River Water Forum, and studied the Law of the River firsthand on a Grand Canyon field course at a pivotal moment for the Colorado River. The center also hosted visiting scholars from the University of Utah and the University of Florida, giving students the chance to engage directly with leading voices in natural resource law.
This work depends on philanthropic support.
Your gift funds student fellowships, faculty-student research, field-based education, student participation in natural resources moot court competitions, and the conferences and forums that bring students together with practitioners, policymakers, and communities.
Please consider supporting the Gina Guy Center during UW's 2026 Giving Day. Every gift helps turn a student's passion for natural resource law into a career serving Wyoming and the West.
