UW Extension: 2026 Ready, Set, Explore

Sometimes the best family memories don't cost anything. A hike. A snowball fight. A backyard scavenger hunt. A night under the stars.

Ready, Set, Explore! is a free family-friendly University of Wyoming Extension program that helps Wyoming families spend more time outdoors, learn about health and natural resources, and make memories together. From October through May, families receive monthly activities they can complete at their own pace in a backyard, a neighborhood, a local park, or on Wyoming's public lands. Families who complete four activities in a month earn that month's incentive, and those who finish at least four of the eight months can earn a Wyoming State Parks annual day-use pass.

Families don't necessarily need more places to go. They need more reasons to go. Ready, Set, Explore! provides the idea, the structure, and the motivation.

This Giving Day, our goal is $2,000 from 100 donors. Here is what your gift can do.

• $25 helps provide activity materials and supplies.
• $50 helps provide incentives that keep families engaged throughout the program.
• $100 helps cost share so more State Parks passes can help more families explore Wyoming.
