In Philosophy and Religious Studies, we train students to think deeply about life’s most important questions—and to bring those insights to their communities, their careers, and the wider world.

This year, we invite you to Seize the Day by supporting our department in honor of Dr. Susanna L. Goodin who taught philosophy at the University of Wyoming across five decades. Dr. Goodin invested in generations of students with her sharp mind, engaging teaching, and unwavering commitment to the life of inquiry. We miss her deeply, and your support will help carry forward her legacy of curiosity, rigor, and care for students.

• Wyoming Stoic Camp – Support students in attending an annual tradition of adventure, meditative philosophy, and stoic contemplation in the Wyoming mountains.
• Susanna L. Goodin Memorial Student Lounge – A welcoming new space for study and community, and your gift helps us stock and furnish it.
• Student Study Abroad – Open the world for our students by supporting their travel to Athens, Thailand, and beyond.
• Faculty Travel – Help send our faculty to national and international conferences for research and advanced teaching training.
