Debate offers UW a forum in which to compete with the most elite schools in the country on a nearly level playing field. It offers our students the opportunity to compete with everyone from our regional rivals to Ivy League schools.
Wyoming Debate has a long history of success, and donors have played a vital role in these accomplishments. The future of Wyoming Debate is built on our past successes, and our strength remains what it has always been—a team made up of homegrown debaters, perpetual underdogs who are underestimated by our rivals.
With your support, we can take Wyoming Debate to the next level. Our vision is to build a program where Wyoming Debate is no longer an underdog but competes year in and year out and wins championships. Our priorities include hiring an assistant coach to provide students with more opportunities for meaningful one-on-one mentoring, recruiting outstanding students who embrace our high expectations in the classroom and in competition, and an increase in our scholarship and operating budgets.
